28 “Then ^(A)bring forward to yourself your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, to serve as priest to Me—Aaron, ^(B)Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.

⁴⁰ In the morning, however, they got up early and went up to the ^[a]ridge of the hill country, saying, “^(A)Here we are; and we will go up to the place which the Lord has ^[b]promised, for ^[c]we have sinned.”

⁷ But you and your sons with you shall ^(A)attend to your priesthood for everything that concerns the altar and inside the veil, and you are to perform service. I am giving you the priesthood as ^(B)a ^[a]service that is a gift, and ^(C)the ^[b]unauthorized person who comes near shall be put to death.”
