The Bronze Altar
27 “You shall make the (A)altar of acacia wood, five cubits[a] long and five cubits broad. The altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. 2 And you shall make (B)horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and (C)you shall overlay it with bronze. 3 You shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins and (D)forks and fire pans. You shall make all its utensils of bronze. 4 You shall also make for it a grating, a network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners. 5 And you shall set it under the ledge of the altar so that the net extends halfway down the altar. 6 And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7 And the poles shall be put through the rings, so that the poles are on the two sides of the altar when it is carried. 8 You shall make it hollow, with boards. (E)As it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made.
The Court of the Tabernacle
9 (F)“You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side. 10 Its twenty pillars and their twenty bases shall be of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. 11 And likewise for its length on the north side there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, its pillars twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver. 12 And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings for fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases. 13 The breadth of the court on the front to the east shall be fifty cubits. 14 The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases. 15 On the other side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits, with their three pillars and three bases. 16 For the gate of the court there shall be (G)a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. It shall have four pillars and with them four bases. 17 All the pillars around the court shall be filleted with silver. Their hooks shall be of silver, and their bases of bronze. 18 The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, the breadth fifty, and the height five cubits, with hangings of fine twined linen and bases of bronze. 19 All the utensils of the tabernacle for every use, and all its pegs and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.
Oil for the Lamp
20 (H)“You shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may regularly be set up to burn. 21 (I)In the tent of meeting, (J)outside the veil that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel.

As it was shown you on the mountain, so they will do.
Instructions for Making the Courtyard
9 “You will make the courtyard of the tabernacle; for the south[c] side will be hangings for the courtyard of finely twisted linen, one hundred cubits long for the one side. 10 And its twenty pillars and their twenty bases will be bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands will be silver. 11 And likewise for the north side along the length will be hangings one hundred cubits long; and its twenty pillars and their bases will be bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands will be silver. 12 And the width of the courtyard for the west[d] side will be hangings of fifty cubits, their ten pillars and their ten bases. 13 And the width of the courtyard for the east side, toward sunrise, will be fifty cubits. 14 And hangings for the shoulder[e] will be fifteen cubits with their three pillars and their three bases. 15 And fifteen cubits of hangings will be for the second shoulder[f] with their three pillars and their three bases. 16 And for the gate of the courtyard there will be a screen of twenty cubits of blue and purple and crimson yarns and finely twisted linen, the work of an embroiderer; with their four pillars and their four bases.
17 “All the pillars of the courtyard all around will be banded with silver, and their hooks will be silver, and their bases will be bronze. 18 The length of the courtyard will be one hundred cubits and the width fifty cubits[g] and the height five cubits, of finely twisted linen, with their bronze bases. 19 Bronze will be for all the equipment of the tabernacle in all its service and all its pegs[h] and all the pegs[i] of the courtyard.
Instructions for Making Oil for the Lampstand
20 “And you will command the Israelites,[j] and they will bring to you pure, beaten olive oil for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually. 21 In the tent of assembly outside the curtain that is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons will arrange it, from evening until morning, before Yahweh as a lasting statute throughout their generations from the Israelites.[k]

27 »Tu feras l'autel en bois d'acacia. Sa longueur et sa largeur seront de 2 mètres et demi, il sera carré. Sa hauteur sera d’un mètre et demi. 2 Aux 4 coins, tu feras des cornes qui sortiront de l'autel et tu le couvriras de bronze. 3 Tu feras pour l'autel des cendriers, des pelles, des bassins, des fourchettes et des brûle-parfums; tu feras tous ses ustensiles en bronze. 4 Tu feras à l'autel une grille en bronze, en forme de treillis, et tu mettras 4 anneaux de bronze aux 4 coins du treillis. 5 Tu le placeras sous le rebord de l'autel, dans la partie inférieure, et il arrivera à mi-hauteur de l'autel. 6 Tu feras des barres pour l'autel, des barres en bois d'acacia, et tu les couvriras de bronze. 7 On passera les barres dans les anneaux et elles seront des deux côtés de l'autel quand on le portera. 8 Tu le feras creux, avec des planches. Il sera fait tel qu'il t'est montré sur la montagne.
Le parvis et son entrée
9 »Tu feras le parvis du tabernacle. Du côté sud, pour former cette cour, il y aura des toiles en fin lin retors sur une longueur de 50 mètres pour ce premier côté, 10 avec 20 colonnes reposant sur 20 bases en bronze. Les crochets des colonnes et leurs tringles seront en argent. 11 Du côté nord, il y aura également des toiles sur une longueur de 50 mètres, avec 20 colonnes et leurs 20 bases en bronze. Les crochets des colonnes et leurs tringles seront en argent.
12 »Du côté ouest, il y aura pour la largeur du parvis 25 mètres de toiles, avec 10 colonnes et leurs 10 bases. 13 Du côté est, sur les 25 mètres de largeur du parvis, 14 il y aura 7 mètres et demi de toiles pour une aile, avec 3 colonnes et leurs 3 bases, 15 et 7 mètres et demi de toiles pour la seconde aile, avec 3 colonnes et leurs 3 bases. 16 Pour la porte du parvis, il y aura un rideau de 10 mètres bleu, pourpre et cramoisi avec du fin lin retors, un ouvrage de broderie, avec 4 colonnes et leurs 4 bases.
17 »Toutes les colonnes qui forment l'enceinte du parvis auront des tringles en argent, des crochets en argent et des bases en bronze. 18 La longueur du parvis sera de 50 mètres, sa largeur de 25 de chaque côté, et sa hauteur de 2 mètres et demi; les toiles seront en fin lin retors, et les bases en bronze. 19 Tous les ustensiles destinés au service du tabernacle, tous ses pieux ainsi que tous les pieux du parvis seront en bronze.
L'huile pour les lampes
20 »Tu ordonneras aux Israélites de t'apporter, pour le chandelier, de l'huile pure d'olives concassées, afin d'entretenir constamment les lampes. 21 C'est dans la tente de la rencontre, devant le voile qui cache le témoignage, qu'Aaron et ses fils la prépareront pour que les lampes brûlent du soir au matin en présence de l'Eternel. C'est une prescription perpétuelle pour les Israélites au fil des générations.

The Altar of Burnt Offering(A)
27 “Build an altar(B) of acacia wood, three cubits[a] high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.[b] 2 Make a horn(C) at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze. 3 Make all its utensils of bronze—its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls,(D) meat forks and firepans.(E) 4 Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network. 5 Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar. 6 Make poles of acacia wood for the altar and overlay them with bronze.(F) 7 The poles are to be inserted into the rings so they will be on two sides of the altar when it is carried.(G) 8 Make the altar hollow, out of boards. It is to be made just as you were shown(H) on the mountain.
The Courtyard(I)
9 “Make a courtyard(J) for the tabernacle. The south side shall be a hundred cubits[c] long and is to have curtains of finely twisted linen, 10 with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts. 11 The north side shall also be a hundred cubits long and is to have curtains, with twenty posts and twenty bronze bases and with silver hooks and bands on the posts.
12 “The west end of the courtyard shall be fifty cubits[d] wide and have curtains, with ten posts and ten bases. 13 On the east end, toward the sunrise, the courtyard shall also be fifty cubits wide. 14 Curtains fifteen cubits[e] long are to be on one side of the entrance, with three posts and three bases, 15 and curtains fifteen cubits long are to be on the other side, with three posts and three bases.
16 “For the entrance to the courtyard, provide a curtain(K) twenty cubits[f] long, of blue, purple and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen—the work of an embroiderer(L)—with four posts and four bases. 17 All the posts around the courtyard are to have silver bands and hooks, and bronze bases. 18 The courtyard shall be a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide,[g] with curtains of finely twisted linen five cubits[h] high, and with bronze bases. 19 All the other articles used in the service of the tabernacle, whatever their function, including all the tent pegs for it and those for the courtyard, are to be of bronze.
Oil for the Lampstand(M)
20 “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil(N) of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning. 21 In the tent of meeting,(O) outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law,(P) Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps(Q) burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance(R) among the Israelites for the generations to come.
