The Bronze Altar

27 “And you shall make (A)the altar of acacia wood, five [a]cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits. You shall make (B)its horns on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with [b]bronze. You shall make its pails for removing its ashes, and its shovels and its basins and its forks and its firepans; you shall make all its utensils of bronze. You shall make for it a grating of network of bronze, and on the net you shall make four bronze rings [c]at its four corners. You shall put it beneath, under the ledge of the altar, so that the net will reach halfway up the altar. You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. Its poles shall be inserted into the rings, so that the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar (C)when it is carried. You shall make it hollow with planks; (D)as it was shown to you in the mountain, so they shall make it.

Court of the Tabernacle

“You shall make (E)the court of the [d]tabernacle. [e]On the south side there shall be hangings for the court of fine twisted linen one hundred cubits long for one side; 10 and its pillars shall be twenty, with their twenty [f]sockets of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their [g]bands shall be of silver. 11 Likewise for the north side in length there shall be hangings one hundred cubits long, and its twenty pillars with their twenty [h]sockets of bronze; the hooks of the pillars and their bands shall be of silver. 12 For the width of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits with their ten pillars and their ten [i]sockets. 13 The width of the court on the [j]east side shall be fifty cubits. 14 The hangings for the one [k]side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits with their three pillars and their three [l]sockets. 15 And for the [m]other [n]side shall be hangings of fifteen cubits with their three pillars and their three [o]sockets. 16 For the gate of the court there shall be a screen of twenty cubits, of [p]blue and purple and scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a [q]weaver, with their four pillars and their four [r]sockets. 17 All the pillars around the court shall be furnished with silver bands with their hooks of silver and their [s]sockets of bronze. 18 The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits of fine twisted linen, and their [t]sockets of bronze. 19 All the utensils of the tabernacle used in all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.

20 “You shall charge the sons of Israel, that they bring you (F)clear oil of beaten olives for the [u]light, to make a lamp [v]burn continually. 21 In the (G)tent of meeting, outside (H)the veil which is before the testimony, (I)Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord; it shall be a perpetual (J)statute throughout their generations [w]for the sons of Israel.

Prayer for Deliverance from Enemies.

For the choir director; set to [a]Al-tashheth. A [b]Mikhtam of David, [c]when Saul sent men and they watched the house in order to kill him.

59 (A)Deliver me from my enemies, O my God;
[d](B)Set me securely on high away from those who rise up against me.
Deliver me from (C)those who do iniquity
And save me from (D)men of bloodshed.
For behold, they (E)have [e]set an ambush for my [f]life;
[g]Fierce men [h](F)launch an attack against me,
(G)Not for my transgression nor for my sin, O Lord,
[i](H)For no guilt of mine, they run and set themselves against me.
(I)Arouse Yourself to [j]help me, and see!
You, (J)O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel,
Awake to [k](K)punish all the nations;
(L)Do not be gracious to any who are treacherous in iniquity. [l]Selah.
They (M)return at evening, they howl like a (N)dog,
And go around the city.
Behold, they (O)belch forth with their mouth;
(P)Swords are in their lips,
For, they say, “(Q)Who hears?”
But You, O Lord, (R)laugh at them;
You (S)scoff at all the nations.

Ten Lepers Cleansed

11 While He was (A)on the way to Jerusalem, (B)He was passing [a]between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As He entered a village, ten leprous men who (C)stood at a distance met Him; 13 and they raised their voices, saying, “Jesus, (D)Master, have mercy on us!” 14 When He saw them, He said to them, (E)Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they were going, they were cleansed. 15 Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, (F)glorifying God with a loud voice, 16 and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a (G)Samaritan. 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But the nine—where are they? 18 [b]Was no one found who returned to (H)give glory to God, except this foreigner?”
