Las ofrendas para el santuario(A)

25 El Señor habló con Moisés y le dijo: «Ordénales a los israelitas que me traigan una ofrenda. La deben presentar todos los que sientan deseos de traérmela.

»Como ofrenda se les aceptará lo siguiente:

»oro, plata, bronce,

lana color azul, carmesí y escarlata, tela de lino fino,

pelo de cabra,

pieles de carnero teñidas de rojo, pieles finas,

madera de acacia,

aceite de oliva para las lámparas,

especias para el aceite de la unción y para el incienso aromático;

también piedras de ónice y otras piedras preciosas para montarlas en el efod y en el pectoral del sacerdote.

»Después me harán un santuario, para que yo habite entre ustedes. El santuario y todo su mobiliario deberán ser una réplica exacta del modelo que yo te mostraré.

El arca(B)

10 »Haz[a] un arca de madera de acacia, de dos codos y medio de largo, un codo y medio de ancho, y un codo y medio de alto.[b] 11 Por dentro y por fuera recúbrela de oro puro y ponle en su derredor una moldura de oro. 12 Funde cuatro anillos de oro para colocarlos en sus cuatro patas, colocando dos anillos en un lado y dos en el otro. 13 Prepara luego unas varas de madera de acacia y recúbrelas de oro. 14 Introduce las varas en los anillos que van a los costados del arca, para transportarla. 15 Deja las varas en los anillos del arca y no las saques de allí, 16 entonces pon dentro del arca las tablas del pacto que voy a entregarte.

17 »Hazle al arca una tapa de oro puro, de dos codos y medio de largo por un codo y medio de ancho, 18 y para los dos extremos de la tapa del arca harás dos querubines de oro trabajado a martillo. 19 En cada uno de los extremos irá un querubín. Hazlos de modo que formen una sola pieza con la tapa del arca.

20 »Los querubines deberán tener las alas extendidas por encima de la tapa del arca y cubrirla con ellas. Quedarán el uno frente al otro, mirando hacia la tapa del arca.

21 »Coloca la tapa encima del arca y pon dentro de ella las tablas del pacto que voy a entregarte. 22 Yo me reuniré allí contigo en medio de los dos querubines que están sobre el arca donde están las tablas del pacto. Desde la parte superior de la tapa del arca te daré todas las instrucciones que habrás de comunicarles a los israelitas.

La mesa(C)

23 »Haz una mesa de madera de acacia de dos codos de largo por un codo de ancho y un codo y medio de alto.[c] 24 Recúbrela de oro puro y ponle alrededor una moldura de oro. 25 Haz también un reborde de un palmo[d] de ancho, y una moldura de oro para ponerla alrededor del reborde.

26 »Haz cuatro anillos de oro para la mesa y sujétalos a sus cuatro esquinas, donde van las cuatro patas. 27 Los anillos deben quedar junto al reborde para pasar por ellos las varas empleadas para transportar la mesa.

28 »Esas varas deben ser de madera de acacia y estar recubiertas de oro. 29 También deben ser de oro puro sus platos y sus bandejas, así como sus jarras y tazones para verter las ofrendas líquidas. 30 Sobre la mesa pondrás el pan de la Presencia, para que esté ante mí siempre.

El candelabro(D)

31 »Haz un candelabro de oro puro trabajado a martillo. Su base, su tallo, y sus copas, cálices y flores, formarán una sola pieza. 32 De los costados del candelabro saldrán seis brazos, tres de un lado y tres del otro. 33 Cada uno de los seis brazos del candelabro tendrá tres copas en forma de flores de almendro, con cálices y pétalos. 34 El candelabro mismo tendrá cuatro copas en forma de flor de almendro, con cálices y pétalos. 35 Debajo del primer par de brazos que salen del candelabro habrá un cáliz; debajo del segundo par de brazos habrá un segundo cáliz y debajo del tercer par de brazos habrá un tercer cáliz —seis brazos en total. 36 Los cálices y los brazos deben formar una sola pieza con el candelabro y ser de oro puro trabajado a martillo.

37 »Hazle también sus siete lámparas y colócalas de tal modo que alumbren hacia el frente. 38 Sus cortapabilos y braseros deben ser de oro puro. 39 Para hacer el candelabro y todos estos accesorios se usará un talento[e] de oro puro.

40 »Asegúrate de hacerlo todo según el modelo que se te mostró en el monte.

Contributions for the Sanctuary

25 The Lord said to Moses, (A)“Speak to the people of Israel, that they take for me a contribution. From (B)every man whose heart moves him you shall receive the contribution for me. And this is the contribution that you shall receive from them: gold, silver, and bronze, (C)blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen, goats' hair, tanned (D)rams' skins, goatskins,[a] acacia wood, (E)oil for the lamps, (F)spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, onyx stones, and stones for setting, for the (G)ephod and for the breastpiece. And let them make me a (H)sanctuary, that (I)I may dwell in their midst. (J)Exactly as I show you concerning the pattern of the (K)tabernacle, and of all its furniture, so you shall make it.

The Ark of the Covenant

10 (L)“They shall make an ark of acacia wood. Two cubits[b] and a half shall be its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. 11 You shall overlay it with (M)pure gold, inside and outside shall you overlay it, and you shall make on it a molding of gold around it. 12 You shall cast four rings of gold for it and put them on its (N)four feet, two rings on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it. 13 You shall make poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. 14 And you shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark by them. 15 The (O)poles shall remain in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it. 16 (P)And you shall put into the ark the (Q)testimony that I shall give you.

17 (R)“You shall make a mercy seat[c] of pure gold. Two cubits and a half shall be its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. 18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of (S)hammered work shall you make them, on the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end. (T)Of one piece with the mercy seat shall you make the cherubim on its two ends. 20 (U)The cherubim shall spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubim be. 21 And you shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the testimony that I shall give you. 22 (V)There I will meet with you, and from above the mercy seat, from (W)between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the testimony, I will speak with you about all that I will give you in commandment for the people of Israel.

The Table for Bread

23 (X)“You shall make a table of acacia wood. Two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. 24 You shall overlay it with (Y)pure gold and make a molding of gold around it. 25 And you shall make a rim around it a handbreadth[d] wide, and a molding of gold around the rim. 26 And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and fasten the rings to the four corners at its four legs. 27 Close to the frame the rings shall lie, as (Z)holders for the poles to carry the table. 28 You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, and the table shall be carried with these. 29 And you shall make its plates and (AA)dishes for incense, and its flagons and bowls with which to pour drink offerings; you shall make them of pure gold. 30 And you shall set the (AB)bread of the Presence on the table before me regularly.

The Golden Lampstand

31 (AC)“You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand shall be made of hammered work: its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers shall be of one piece with it. 32 And there shall be six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; 33 three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. 34 And on the lampstand itself there shall be four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, 35 and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out from the lampstand. 36 Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. 37 You shall make seven lamps for it. And the lamps (AD)shall be set up so as (AE)to give light on the space in front of it. 38 Its tongs and their trays shall be of pure gold. 39 It shall be made, with all these utensils, out of a talent[e] of pure gold. 40 And (AF)see that you make them after the pattern for them, which is being shown you on the mountain.

Offerings for the Sanctuary(A)

25 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring Me an [a]offering. (B)From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering. And this is the offering which you shall take from them: gold, silver, and bronze; blue, purple, and scarlet thread, fine linen, and goats’ hair; ram skins dyed red, [b]badger skins, and acacia wood; (C)oil for the light, and (D)spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense; onyx stones, and stones to be set in the (E)ephod and in the breastplate. And let them make Me a (F)sanctuary,[c] that (G)I may dwell among them. According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.

The Ark of the Testimony(H)

10 (I)“And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height. 11 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of (J)gold all around. 12 You shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in its four corners; two rings shall be on one side, and two rings on the other side. 13 And you shall make poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold. 14 You shall put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark, that the ark may be carried by them. 15 (K)The poles shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it. 16 And you shall put into the ark (L)the Testimony which I will give you.

17 (M)“You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width. 18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy seat. 20 And (N)the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat. 21 (O)You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and (P)in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you. 22 And (Q)there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from (R)between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

The Table for the Showbread(S)

23 (T)“You shall also make a table of acacia wood; two cubits shall be its length, a cubit its width, and a cubit and a half its height. 24 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, and make a molding of gold all around. 25 You shall make for it a frame of a handbreadth all around, and you shall make a gold molding for the frame all around. 26 And you shall make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that are at its four legs. 27 The rings shall be close to the frame, as holders for the poles to bear the table. 28 And you shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be carried with them. 29 You shall make (U)its dishes, its pans, its pitchers, and its bowls for pouring. You shall make them of pure gold. 30 And you shall set the (V)showbread on the table before Me always.

The Gold Lampstand(W)

31 (X)“You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work. Its shaft, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece. 32 And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side. 33 (Y)Three bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower—and so for the six branches that come out of the lampstand. 34 (Z)On the lampstand itself four bowls shall be made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower. 35 And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches that extend from the lampstand. 36 Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece; all of it shall be one hammered piece of pure gold. 37 You shall make seven lamps for it, and (AA)they shall arrange its lamps so that they (AB)give light in front of it. 38 And its wick-trimmers and their trays shall be of pure gold. 39 It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils. 40 And (AC)see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain.
