The Table

²³ “You are to construct a table^(A) of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high.^[a]

³⁰ Put the bread of the Presence^(A) on the table before Me at all times.

⁶ Arrange them in two rows, six to a row, on the pure gold table^(A) before the Lord.

⁴¹ You sat on a luxurious couch with a table spread before it,^(A) on which you had set My incense and oil.

¹⁶ “They are the ones who may enter My sanctuary^(A) and draw near to My table to serve Me.^(B) They will keep My mandate.

⁷ “By presenting defiled food on My altar.”

You ask: “How have we defiled You?”^(A)

When you say: “The Lord’s table is contemptible.”^(B)

¹² But you are profaning it^(A) when you say: “The Lord’s table is defiled, and its product, its food, is contemptible.”
