²⁵ ¶ ^(A)If thou lend money to my people, that is, to the poor with thee, thou shalt not be as an usurer unto him: ye shall not oppress him with usury.

¹⁹ ¶ ^(A)Thou shalt not give to usury to thy brother: as usury of money, usury of meat, usury of anything that is put to usury.

⁸ He that increaseth his riches by usury and interest, gathereth ^[a]them for him that will be merciful unto the poor.

⁸ And hath not given forth upon ^(A)usury, neither hath taken any increase, but hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, and hath executed true judgment between man and man,

¹² In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood: thou hast taken usury and the increase, and thou hast defrauded thy neighbors by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.
