¹² “^(A)He who strikes someone so that he dies shall certainly be put to death. ^13 (B)Yet ^[a]if he did not lie in wait for him, but ^(C)God caused him to fall into his hand, then I will appoint you a place to which he may flee.

¹⁵ but ^[a](A)like the Holy One who called you, ^[b](B)be holy yourselves also ^(C)in all your behavior; ¹⁶ because it is written: “^(D)You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

¹² Therefore Jesus also suffered ^(A)outside the gate, ^(B)that He might sanctify the people ^(C)through His own blood.

²³ Now ^(A)may the God of peace ^(B)Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your ^(C)spirit and soul and body be kept complete, ^(D)without blame at ^(E)the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. ^24 (F)Faithful is He who ^(G)calls you, and He also will do it.
