Water in the Rock

17 Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel journeyed by ^[a]stages from the wilderness of ^(A)Sin, according to the ^[b]command of the Lord, and camped at ^(B)Rephidim, and there was no water for the people to drink.

⁹ Then Moses went up ^[a]with Aaron, ^(A)Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, ¹⁰ and ^(B)they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet ^[b](C)there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, ^[c]as clear as the sky itself. ¹¹ Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and ^(D)they saw God, and they ate and drank.
