²⁶ He said, “If you will carefully obey the Lord your God, do what is right in his sight, pay attention to his commands, and keep all his statutes, I will not inflict any illnesses on you that I inflicted on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.”^(A)

⁴⁰ Keep his statutes and commands, which I am giving you today, so that you and your children after you may prosper and so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

Remember and Obey

11 “Therefore, love the Lord your God and always keep his mandate and his statutes, ordinances, and commands.

¹⁷ Today you have affirmed that the Lord is your God and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commands, and ordinances, and obey him.

⁴⁵ “All these curses will come, pursue, and overtake you until you are destroyed, since you did not obey the Lord your God and keep the commands and statutes he gave you.

¹⁶ For^[a] I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live^[b] and multiply, and the Lord your God may bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

³ and keep your obligation to the Lord your God to walk in his ways and to keep his statutes, commands, ordinances, and decrees. This is written in the law of Moses, so that you will have success in everything you do^(A) and wherever you turn,

¹⁴ If you walk in my ways and keep my statutes and commands just as your father David did, I will give you a long life.”^(A)

¹² “As for this temple you are building—if you walk in my statutes, observe my ordinances, and keep all my commands by walking in them,^(A) I will fulfill my promise to you, which I made to your father David.^(B)

⁵⁸ so that he causes us to be devoted^[a] to him,^(A) to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commands, statutes, and ordinances, which he commanded our ancestors.
