²⁴ So the people ^(A)grumbled at Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

² And the whole congregation of the sons of Israel ^(A)grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.

² Therefore the people ^(A)contended with Moses and said, “Give us water that we may drink.” And Moses said to them, “^(B)Why do you contend with me? ^(C)Why do you test Yahweh?”
