Exodus 11:5-7

5 and (A)all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, to the firstborn of the slave girl who is behind the millstones; all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 So there shall be (B)a great cry in all the land of Egypt, such as there has not been before and such as shall never be again. 7 (C)But not even a dog will [a]threaten any of the sons of Israel, nor anything from person to animal, so that you may [b]learn how the Lord distinguishes between Egypt and Israel.’

New International Version
5 Every firstborn(A) son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill,(B) and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 There will be loud wailing(C) throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. 7 But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.’ Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction(D) between Egypt and Israel.
