14 They gathered them together in heaps, and the land stank. 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was (A)relief, (B)he hardened his heart and did not heed them, as the Lord had said.

16 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Stretch out your staff(C) and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.”
