^22 (A)Yet the ^[a]magicians of Egypt did ^[b]the same with their secret arts; and Pharaoh’s heart was ^[c]hardened with strength, and he did not listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken.

^7 (A)And the ^[a]magicians did ^[b]the same with their secret arts; they caused the frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.

¹⁸ Then ^[a]the magicians did the same with their secret arts in order to bring forth ^[b]gnats, but ^(A)they could not; so there were ^[c]gnats on man and beast.

⁹ But they will not make further progress, for their ^(A)folly will be obvious to all, just ^(B)as theirs was also.

¹³ And he ^(A)does great signs, so that he even makes ^(B)fire come down out of heaven to the earth in the presence of men. ¹⁴ And he ^(C)deceives ^(D)those who dwell on the earth because of ^(E)the signs which were given to him to do ^[a](F)in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the ^(G)wound of the sword and has come to life.
