Exodus 6:3-5
GOD’S WORD Translation
3 I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but I didn’t make myself known to them by my name, the Lord. 4 I even made a promise [a] to give them Canaan, the land where they lived as foreigners. 5 Now I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians hold in slavery, and I have remembered my promise.

New International Version
3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty,[a](A) but by my name(B) the Lord[b](C) I did not make myself fully known to them. 4 I also established my covenant(D) with them to give them the land(E) of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners.(F) 5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning(G) of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my covenant.(H)
