18 Moses set up the tabernacle; he laid its bases, and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its pillars; 19 and he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it; as the Lord had commanded Moses. 20 He took the covenant[a] and put it into the ark, and put the poles on the ark, and set the mercy-seat[b] above the ark;

18 When Moses(A) set up the tabernacle, he put the bases in place, erected the frames,(B) inserted the crossbars and set up the posts. 19 Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering(C) over the tent, as the Lord commanded(D) him.
20 He took the tablets of the covenant law(E) and placed them in the ark,(F) attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover(G) over it.
