⁹ But if it will be that they will not believe even these two signs and that they will not listen to your voice, then you shall take some water from the Nile and pour it on the dry land; and the water which you take from the Nile ^(A)will become blood on the dry land.”

²⁰ So Moses and Aaron did thus, as Yahweh had commanded. And he raised up ^[a](A)the staff and struck the water that was in the Nile, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his servants, and ^(B)all the water that was in the Nile was turned to blood.

⁶ These have the authority to ^(A)shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during ^(B)the days of their prophesying; they also have authority over the waters to ^(C)turn them into blood, and ^(D)to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they wish.

⁴ Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the ^(A)rivers and the springs of waters, and they ^(B)became blood.

⁶ for they poured out ^(A)the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them ^(B)blood to drink. They ^[a]deserve it.”
