²¹ The Lord said to Moses, “When you go ^[a]back to Egypt see that you perform before Pharaoh all ^(A)the wonders which I have put in your ^[b]power; but ^(B)I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.

³ But ^(A)I will harden Pharaoh’s heart that I may ^(B)multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.

^22 (A)But the ^[a]magicians of Egypt did ^[b]the same with their secret arts; and Pharaoh’s heart was ^[c]hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

¹⁵ But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he ^[a]hardened his heart and ^(A)did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

¹⁹ Then the ^[a]magicians said to Pharaoh, “^(A)This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was ^[b]hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.

³² But Pharaoh ^[a]hardened his heart this time also, and ^(A)he did not let the people go.

⁷ Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not even one of the livestock of Israel dead. But ^(A)the heart of Pharaoh was ^[a]hardened, and he did not let the people go.

¹² And ^(A)the Lord ^[a]hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.

³⁴ But when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the ^[a]thunder had ceased, he sinned again and ^[b]hardened his heart, he and his servants. ³⁵ Pharaoh’s heart was ^[c]hardened, and he did not let the sons of Israel go, just as the ^(A)Lord had spoken through Moses.
