¹⁰ Then Moses said to the Lord, “Please, Lord, ^(A)I have never been ^[a]eloquent, neither ^[b]recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am ^[c]slow of speech and ^[d]slow of tongue.”

¹² But Moses spoke before the Lord, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me; ^(A)how then will Pharaoh listen to me, as I am ^[a](B)unskilled in speech?”

¹⁸ But David said to Saul, “^(A)Who am I, and who is my family, or my father’s family in Israel, that I should be the king’s son-in-law?”
