Sabbath Regulations
35 Moses assembled all the congregation of the Israelites and said to them: These are the things that the Lord has commanded you to do:
2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy sabbath of solemn rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death. 3 You shall kindle no fire in all your dwellings on the sabbath day.
Preparations for Making the Tabernacle
4 Moses said to all the congregation of the Israelites: This is the thing that the Lord has commanded: 5 Take from among you an offering to the Lord; let whoever is of a generous heart bring the Lord’s offering: gold, silver, and bronze; 6 blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and fine linen; goats’ hair, 7 tanned rams’ skins, and fine leather;[a] acacia wood, 8 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense, 9 and onyx stones and gems to be set in the ephod and the breastpiece.
10 All who are skillful among you shall come and make all that the Lord has commanded: the tabernacle, 11 its tent and its covering, its clasps and its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 12 the ark with its poles, the mercy seat,[b] and the curtain for the screen; 13 the table with its poles and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence; 14 the lampstand also for the light, with its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for the light; 15 and the altar of incense, with its poles, and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance, the entrance of the tabernacle; 16 the altar of burnt offering, with its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils, the basin with its stand; 17 the hangings of the court, its pillars and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court; 18 the pegs of the tabernacle and the pegs of the court, and their cords; 19 the finely worked vestments for ministering in the holy place, the holy vestments for the priest Aaron, and the vestments of his sons, for their service as priests.
Offerings for the Tabernacle
20 Then all the congregation of the Israelites withdrew from the presence of Moses. 21 And they came, everyone whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and brought the Lord’s offering to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the sacred vestments. 22 So they came, both men and women; all who were of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and pendants, all sorts of gold objects, everyone bringing an offering of gold to the Lord. 23 And everyone who possessed blue or purple or crimson yarn or fine linen or goats’ hair or tanned rams’ skins or fine leather,[c] brought them. 24 Everyone who could make an offering of silver or bronze brought it as the Lord’s offering; and everyone who possessed acacia wood of any use in the work, brought it. 25 All the skillful women spun with their hands, and brought what they had spun in blue and purple and crimson yarns and fine linen; 26 all the women whose hearts moved them to use their skill spun the goats’ hair. 27 And the leaders brought onyx stones and gems to be set in the ephod and the breastpiece, 28 and spices and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense. 29 All the Israelite men and women whose hearts made them willing to bring anything for the work that the Lord had commanded by Moses to be done, brought it as a freewill offering to the Lord.
Bezalel and Oholiab
30 Then Moses said to the Israelites: See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; 31 he has filled him with divine spirit,[d] with skill, intelligence, and knowledge in every kind of craft, 32 to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, 33 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, in every kind of craft. 34 And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan. 35 He has filled them with skill to do every kind of work done by an artisan or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and in fine linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of artisan or skilled designer.

35 Und Mose versammelte die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israels und sprach zu ihnen: Das sind die Worte, die der Herr geboten hat, dass ihr sie tun sollt:
2 Sechs Tage soll gearbeitet werden, aber der siebte Tag soll euch heilig sein, dass ihr die Sabbatruhe des Herrn feiert. Wer da Arbeit verrichtet, der soll sterben.
3 Am Sabbattag sollt ihr kein Feuer anzünden in allen euren Wohnungen!
4 Mose redete weiter mit der ganzen Gemeinde der Kinder Israels und sprach: Das ist das Wort, das der Herr geboten hat:
5 Bringt aus eurer Mitte eine freiwillige Gabe für den Herrn; jeder, den sein Herz dazu treibt, der soll sie bringen, die freiwillige Gabe für den Herrn, nämlich Gold, Silber und Erz,
6 blauen und roten Purpur und Karmesin, weißes Leinen und Ziegenhaar,
7 rötliche Widderfelle, Seekuhfelle und Akazienholz,
8 und Öl für den Leuchter und Spezerei für das Salböl und für wohlriechendes Räucherwerk,
9 Onyxsteine und Steine zum Besatz für das Ephod und für das Brustschild.
10 Und alle, die unter euch ein weises Herz haben, die sollen kommen und anfertigen, was der Herr geboten hat:
11 Die Wohnung, ihr Zelt und ihre Decke, ihre Klammern und ihre Bretter, ihre Riegel, ihre Säulen und ihre Füße;
12 die Lade mit ihren Tragstangen, den Sühnedeckel und den verhüllenden Vorhang;
13 den Tisch mit seinen Tragstangen und allen seinen Geräten und die Schaubrote;
14 den Leuchter zur Beleuchtung samt seinen Geräten und seinen Lampen und das Öl des Leuchters;
15 den Räucheraltar mit seinen Tragstangen, das Salböl und das wohlriechende Räucherwerk, den Eingangsvorhang für den Eingang der Wohnung;
16 den Brandopferaltar mit seinem ehernen Gitter, mit seinen Tragstangen und allen seinen Geräten, das Becken mit seinem Gestell;
17 die Behänge des Vorhofs mit seinen Säulen und Füßen, und den Vorhang für den Eingang am Vorhof;
18 die Pflöcke der Wohnung und die Pflöcke des Vorhofs mit ihren Seilen;
19 die Dienstkleider zum Dienst im Heiligtum, die heiligen Kleider Aarons, des Priesters, und die Kleider seiner Söhne, für den priesterlichen Dienst.
20 Da ging die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israels von Mose hinweg.
21 Und sie kamen — jeder, den sein Herz dazu trieb, und jeder, dessen Geist willig war; sie brachten dem Herrn eine freiwillige Gabe für das Werk der Stiftshütte und seinen ganzen Dienst und für die heiligen Kleider.
22 Es kamen aber die Männer samt den Frauen, alle, die willigen Herzens waren, und sie brachten Nasenringe, Ohrringe und Fingerringe und Halsketten und allerlei goldene Geräte; alle, die dem Herrn Gold als freiwillige Gabe brachten.
23 Und wer bei sich blauen und roten Purpur fand und Karmesin und Leinen und Ziegenhaar und rötliche Widderfelle und Seekuhfelle, der brachte es.
24 Und wer Silber und Erz als freiwillige Gabe darbringen wollte, der brachte es als freiwillige Gabe für den Herrn. Und wer Akazienholz bei sich fand, der brachte es für jegliche Arbeit des Dienstes.
25 Und alle Frauen, die ein weises Herz hatten, spannen mit ihren Händen und brachten das Gesponnene, [Garne] von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin und von feinem Leinen.
26 Und die Frauen, die ihr Herz dazu trieb und die verständigen Sinnes waren, die spannen das Ziegenhaar.
27 Die Fürsten aber brachten Onyxsteine und Steine zum Besatz für das Ephod und für das Brustschild,
28 und Spezerei und Öl für den Leuchter und für das Salböl und für das wohlriechende Räucherwerk.
29 So brachten die Kinder Israels dem Herrn eine freiwillige Gabe — alle Männer und Frauen, die willigen Herzens waren, zu all dem Werk beizutragen, das der Herr durch Mose auszuführen befohlen hatte.

33 und um Steine zum Besatz zu bearbeiten, und um Holz zu schnitzen, sodass er Kunstwerke aller Art ausführen kann.

4 Mózes kihirdette Izráel egész közösségének: „Ezt parancsolta az Örökkévaló: 5 »Gyűjtsétek össze, amit az Örökkévalónak akartok ajándékozni! Mindenki szabad elhatározásából hozzon ajándékot az Örökkévalónak! A két mesterember megbízatása(C)
30 Ezután Mózes kihirdette Izráel népének: „Nézzétek! Az Örökkévaló név szerint elhívta Júda törzséből Becalélt, aki Húr fiának, Úrinak a fia. 31 Betöltötte őt Isten Szellemével, bölccsé és értelmessé tette, megajándékozta tudással, mesterségbeli és művészi képességgel mindenféle munkához. 32 Ezért Becalél képes arra, hogy aranyból, ezüstből és bronzból elkészítse a Szent Sátorhoz szükséges felszereléseket, 33 ért a drágakövek véséséhez és befoglalásához, az ács- és asztalosmunkákhoz és mindenféle egyéb mesterséghez is.
34 Ezen felül Becalélt az Örökkévaló arra is képessé tette, hogy tanítsa a többieket. Ebben a Dán törzséből való Oholíáb, Ahíszámák fia is segíteni fog neki. 35 Az Örökkévaló felruházta mindkettőjüket azzal a képességgel, hogy el tudják végezni a szükséges fafaragó-, ötvös-, szövő- és hímzőmunkát. El tudják készíteni a Sátorhoz szükséges mintás szövött anyagokat is, kék, bíborpiros, skarlátvörös fonalakból és finom lenfonálból.

20 Puis la communauté des Israélites se retira de la présence de Moïse. 21 Alors tous ceux dont le cœur les y disposait et qui en avaient la volonté vinrent apporter à l’Eternel leur contribution en vue de la construction de la tente de la Rencontre, de tout l’ouvrage qui s’y rapporte et de la confection des vêtements sacrés. 22 Tous ceux qui le souhaitaient de tout leur cœur, les hommes autant que les femmes, vinrent apporter des pendentifs, des boucles, des anneaux, des bracelets et toutes sortes d’ornements en or, et ils les offrirent à l’Eternel avec le geste de présentation. 23 Tous ceux qui avaient chez eux des fils de pourpre violette ou écarlate, de rouge éclatant, du fin lin, du poil de chèvre, des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux de dauphins les apportèrent. 24 Tous ceux qui avaient mis de côté une offrande en argent et en bronze l’apportèrent à l’Eternel. 30 Moïse dit aux Israélites : Voyez, l’Eternel a désigné Betsaléel, fils d’Ouri, descendant de Hour, de la tribu de Juda[c]. 31 Il l’a rempli de l’Esprit de Dieu qui lui confère de l’habileté, de l’intelligence et de la compétence pour exécuter toutes sortes d’ouvrages, 32 pour concevoir des projets, pour travailler l’or, l’argent et le bronze, 33 pour tailler des pierres à enchâsser, pour sculpter le bois et pour réaliser toutes sortes d’ouvrages. 34 Il lui a aussi accordé, de même qu’à Oholiab, fils d’Ahisamak de la tribu de Dan, le don d’enseigner sa technique à d’autres. 35 Il les a doués d’habileté pour exécuter toutes sortes de travaux de graveur et de concepteur, pour broder la pourpre violette, le rouge éclatant et le fin lin, pour réaliser des travaux de toutes sortes et concevoir des projets.
