9 Then he said, “If now I have found grace in Your sight, O Lord, (A)let my Lord, I pray, go among us, even though we are a (B)stiff-necked[a] people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us as (C)Your inheritance.”

10 And He said: “Behold, (E)I make a covenant. Before all your people I will (F)do [b]marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is (G)an awesome thing that I will do with you. 11 (H)Observe what I command you this day. Behold, (I)I am driving out from before you the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.

9 “Lord,” he said, “if I have found favor(A) in your eyes, then let the Lord go with us.(B) Although this is a stiff-necked(C) people, forgive our wickedness and our sin,(D) and take us as your inheritance.”(E)
10 Then the Lord said: “I am making a covenant(F) with you. Before all your people I will do wonders(G) never before done in any nation in all the world.(H) The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you. 11 Obey what I command(I) you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.(J)
