¹⁷ They refused to listen,
And ^(A)did not remember Your wondrous deeds which You did among them;
So they became stiff-necked and ^(B)gave themselves a chief to return to their slavery ^[a]in Egypt.
But You are a God ^(C)of lavish forgiveness,
Gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness;
And You did not forsake them.

^7 (A)Let the wicked forsake his way
And the unrighteous man his ^(B)thoughts;
And let him ^(C)return to Yahweh,
And He will have ^(D)compassion on him,
And to our God,
For He will ^(E)abundantly pardon.
