Exodus 32:9-11

9 And Yahweh said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and, indeed, they are a stiff-necked people. 10 And now leave me alone so that my anger may blaze[a] against them, and let me destroy them, and I will make you into a great nation.”

11 And Moses implored Yahweh[b] his God, and he said, “Why, Yahweh, should your anger blaze[c] against your people whom you brought up from the land of Egypt with great power and with a strong hand?

11 But Moses sought the favor(E) of the Lord his God. “Lord,” he said, “why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?(F)
