7 And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he [a]dresseth the lamps thereof, shall he burn it.
8 Likewise at even, when Aaron setteth up the lamps thereof, he shall burn incense: this perfume shall be perpetually before the Lord, throughout your generations.
9 Ye shall offer no [b]strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor offering, neither pour any drink offering [c]thereon.

7 “Aaron must burn fragrant incense(A) on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps. 8 He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.(B) 9 Do not offer on this altar any other incense(C) or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it.
