Exodus 3:2-6
New American Standard Bible
2 Then (A)the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of [a]a (B)bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not being consumed. 3 So Moses said, “(C)I must turn aside and see this [b]marvelous sight, why the bush is not burning up!” 4 When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, (D)God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” 5 Then He said, “Do not come near here; (E)remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.” 6 And He said, “(F)I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” (G)Then Moses hid his face, for he was (H)afraid to look at God.

New International Version
2 There the angel of the Lord(A) appeared to him in flames of fire(B) from within a bush.(C) Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”
4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called(D) to him from within the bush,(E) “Moses! Moses!”
And Moses said, “Here I am.”(F)
5 “Do not come any closer,”(G) God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”(H) 6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father,[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.”(I) At this, Moses hid(J) his face, because he was afraid to look at God.(K)
