Then (A)the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of [a]a (B)bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not being consumed. So Moses said, “(C)I must turn aside and see this [b]marvelous sight, why the bush is not burning up!” When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, (D)God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

There the angel of the Lord(A) appeared to him in flames of fire(B) from within a bush.(C) Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called(D) to him from within the bush,(E) “Moses! Moses!”

And Moses said, “Here I am.”(F)
