¹⁷ So ^(A)I said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of ^(B)the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, to a land ^(C)flowing with milk and honey.”’

⁵ And it shall be when Yahweh ^(A)brings you to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which ^(B)He swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, ^(C)that you shall ^[a]do this service in this month.

²⁷ Thus they recounted to him and said, “We went in to the land where you sent us; and ^(A)it certainly does flow with milk and honey, and ^(B)this is its fruit.

²⁵ Then they took some of the fruit of the land in their hands and brought it down to us; and they brought word back to us and said, ‘It is a good land which Yahweh our God is about to give us.’

⁷ For ^(A)Yahweh your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; ⁸ a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; ⁹ a land where you will eat food without scarcity, in which you will not lack anything; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper.

⁵ in order to establish the ^(A)oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day.”’” Then I answered and said, “^(B)Amen, O Yahweh.”

⁶ on that day I swore to them, ^(A)to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had ^[a]selected for them, ^(B)flowing with milk and honey, which is ^(C)the glory of all lands.
