⁴³ They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they come into the tent of meeting or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a perpetual statute to him and to his seed after him.

¹⁶ and so cause them ^(A)to bear ^[a]punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am Yahweh who makes them holy.’”

^22 (A)And the sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bear sin and die.
