38 It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall [a](A)take away the iniquity of the holy things which the sons of Israel set apart as holy, with regard to all their holy gifts; and it shall continually be on his forehead, that (B)they may be accepted before Yahweh.

39 “You shall weave (C)the tunic of checkered work of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, the work of a [b]weaver.

40 “For Aaron’s sons you shall make (D)tunics; you shall also make sashes for them, and you shall make [c](E)caps for them, for glory and for beauty.

38 It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt(A) involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable(B) to the Lord.

39 “Weave the tunic(C) of fine linen and make the turban(D) of fine linen. The sash is to be the work of an embroiderer. 40 Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sons(E) to give them dignity and honor.(F)
