38 It shall be on Aaron’s forehead, and Aaron shall take away the guilt from the holy things which the sons of Israel dedicate, with regard to all their holy gifts. It shall always be on his forehead, so that they may be accepted before the Lord.(A)

39 “You shall weave the tunic of checkered work of fine linen, and make a turban of fine linen. You shall make a sash, the work of an embroiderer.

40 “For Aaron’s sons you shall make tunics and sashes and [ornamental] caps, for glory and honor and beauty.

38 It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt(A) involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable(B) to the Lord.

39 “Weave the tunic(C) of fine linen and make the turban(D) of fine linen. The sash is to be the work of an embroiderer. 40 Make tunics, sashes and caps for Aaron’s sons(E) to give them dignity and honor.(F)
