Exodus 28:36-38

³⁶“You shall make ^(A)a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet, ^(B)‘Holy to the Lord.’ ³⁷And you shall fasten it on the turban by a cord of blue. It shall be on the front of the turban. ³⁸It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall ^(C)bear any guilt from the holy things that the people of Israel consecrate as their holy gifts. It shall regularly be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the Lord.

New Living Translation

³⁶“Next make a medallion of pure gold, and engrave it like a seal with these words: Holy to the lord. ³⁷Attach the medallion with a blue cord to the front of Aaron’s turban, where it must remain. ³⁸Aaron must wear it on his forehead so he may take on himself any guilt of the people of Israel when they consecrate their sacred offerings. He must always wear it on his forehead so the Lord will accept the people.

³⁶“Make a plate^(A) of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: holy to the Lord.^(B) ³⁷Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban. ³⁸It will be on Aaron’s forehead, and he will bear the guilt^(C) involved in the sacred gifts the Israelites consecrate, whatever their gifts may be. It will be on Aaron’s forehead continually so that they will be acceptable^(D) to the Lord.
