³⁴ Put the atonement cover^(A) on the ark of the covenant law in the Most Holy Place.

³⁵ Aaron must wear it when he ministers. The sound of the bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the Lord and when he comes out, so that he will not die.

⁴³ Aaron and his sons must wear them whenever they enter the tent of meeting^(A) or approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place,^(B) so that they will not incur guilt and die.^(C)

“This is to be a lasting ordinance^(D) for Aaron and his descendants.

³¹ Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil^(A) for the generations to come.^{(B) 32} Do not pour it on anyone else’s body and do not make any other oil using the same formula. It is sacred, and you are to consider it sacred.^(C)

³⁷ Do not make any incense with this formula for yourselves; consider it holy^(A) to the Lord.
