21 You shall put the mercy-seat[a] on the top of the ark; and in the ark you shall put the covenant[b] that I shall give you. 22 There I will meet you, and from above the mercy-seat,[c] from between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the covenant,[d] I will deliver to you all my commands for the Israelites.

23 You shall make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high.

21 Place the cover on top of the ark(A) and put in the ark the tablets of the covenant law(B) that I will give you. 22 There, above the cover between the two cherubim(C) that are over the ark of the covenant law, I will meet(D) with you and give you all my commands for the Israelites.(E)
