⁷ Then he took ^(A)the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “^(B)All that Yahweh has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!” ⁸ So ^(C)Moses took the blood and ^[a]sprinkled it on the people and said, “Behold ^(D)the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has cut with you ^[b]in accordance with all these words.”

²⁰ Then he took ^(A)the testimony and put it into the ark and ^[a]attached the poles to the ark and put the ^[b]mercy seat ^[c]on top of the ark.

¹³ So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to do, that is, ^(A)the Ten ^[a]Commandments; and ^(B)He wrote them on two tablets of stone.
