^6 (A)And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he ^[a]sprinkled on the altar. ⁷ Then he took ^(B)the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “^(C)All that Yahweh has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!” ⁸ So ^(D)Moses took the blood and ^[b]sprinkled it on the people and said, “Behold ^(E)the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has cut with you ^[c]in accordance with all these words.”

²⁵ Then men will say, ‘^(A)Because they forsook the covenant of Yahweh, the God of their fathers, which He cut with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.
