^7 (A)Keep far from a false charge, and ^(B)do not kill the innocent or the righteous, for ^(C)I will not acquit the guilty.

²² But they fell on their faces and said, “O God, ^(A)God of the spirits of all flesh, ^(B)when one man sins, will You be angry with the entire congregation?”

¹⁷ Then David spoke to the Lord when he saw the angel who was striking down the people, and said, “Behold, ^(A)it is I who have sinned, and it is I who have done wrong; but ^(B)these sheep, what have they done? Please let Your hand be against me and against my father’s house.”
