^33 (A)They shall not live in your land, because they will make you sin against Me; for if you serve their gods, ^(B)it will surely be a snare to you.”

^12 (A)Watch yourself that you make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are going, or it will become a snare in your midst.

¹⁶ You shall consume all the peoples whom the Lord your God will deliver to you; ^(A)your eye shall not pity them, nor shall you serve their gods, for that would be ^(B)a snare to you.
