Exodus 22:26

²⁶If you ever seize your neighbor’s cloak ^(A)as a pledge, you are to return it to him before the sun sets,

Exodus 22:26

New International Version

²⁶If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge,^(A) return it by sunset,

¹⁶Take his garment when he becomes guarantor for a stranger;
And for foreigners, seize a pledge from him.

¹⁶Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger;
hold it in pledge^(A) if it is done for an outsider.^(B)
