²³If you do and they cry out^(A) to me, I will certainly hear their cry.^(B)

²³If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

¹⁵He saves the needy^(A) from the sword in their mouth;
he saves them from the clutches of the powerful.^(B)

¹⁵But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.

¹⁹He leads priests away stripped^(A)
and overthrows officials long established.^(B)

¹⁹He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
