23 Don’t make alongside me gods of silver or gold for yourselves. 24 Make for me an altar from fertile soil on which to sacrifice your entirely burned offerings, your well-being sacrifices, your sheep, and your oxen. I will come to you and bless you in every place where I make sure my name is remembered. 25 But if you do make for me an altar from stones, don’t build it with chiseled stone since using your chisel on the stone will make it impure.

23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me;(A) do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.(B)
24 “‘Make an altar(C) of earth for me and sacrifice on it your burnt offerings(D) and fellowship offerings, your sheep and goats and your cattle. Wherever I cause my name(E) to be honored, I will come to you and bless(F) you. 25 If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool(G) on it.
