⁶ and you shall be to Me ^(A)a kingdom of priests and ^(B)a holy nation.’ These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.”

⁶ For you are ^(A)a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be ^(B)a people for His ^[a]own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the ^[b]earth.

⁹ But you are ^(A)a chosen race, a royal ^(B)priesthood, a ^(C)holy nation, ^(D)a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you ^(E)out of darkness into His marvelous light;
