12 But Moses' hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and (A)Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 And (B)Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword.

12 When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.(A) 13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite(B) army with the sword.
