10 So (A)Joshua did as Moses told him, and fought with Amalek, while Moses, Aaron, and (B)Hur went up to the top of the hill. 11 Whenever Moses (C)held up his hand, Israel prevailed, and whenever he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses' hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and (D)Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 13 And (E)Joshua overwhelmed Amalek and his people with the sword.

(D)Be sober-minded; (E)be watchful. Your (F)adversary the devil (G)prowls around (H)like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (I)Resist him, (J)firm in your faith, knowing that (K)the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 10 And (L)after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, (M)who has called you to his (N)eternal glory in Christ, will himself (O)restore, (P)confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 11 (Q)To him be the dominion forever and ever.
