Exodus 15:25

New King James Version

²⁵So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. ^(A)When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

There He ^(B)made a statute and an ^[a]ordinance for them, and there ^(C)He tested them,

²⁵Then Moses cried out^(A) to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw^(B) it into the water, and the water became fit to drink.

There the Lord issued a ruling and instruction for them and put them to the test.^(C)
