^19 (A)For the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, and Yahweh brought back the waters of the sea on them, but the sons of Israel walked on ^(B)dry land through the midst of the sea.

¹⁷ And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of Yahweh stood firm ^(A)on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground until all the nation had completed crossing the Jordan.

²² then you shall make your children know, saying, ‘Israel crossed this Jordan on ^(A)dry land.’
