³¹ Israel saw the great work that the Lord did against the Egyptians. So the people feared the Lord and believed in the Lord and in his servant Moses.^(A)

¹⁸ I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their own people; I will put my words in the mouth of the prophet,^[a] who shall speak to them everything that I command.^(A)

¹⁹ Anyone who does not heed the words that the prophet^[a] shall speak in my name, I myself will hold accountable.^(A)
