²⁷ It is I who says to the depth of the sea, ‘Be dried up!’
And I will make your rivers ^(A)dry.

² Why was there ^(A)no man when I came?
When I called, why was there none to answer?
Is My ^(B)hand so short that it cannot ransom?
Or have I no power to deliver?
Behold, I ^(C)dry up the sea with My rebuke;
I ^(D)make the rivers a wilderness;
Their fish stink for lack of water
And die of thirst.

¹¹ Then ^(A)His people remembered the ancient days, of Moses.
Where is ^(B)He who brought them up out of the sea with the ^[a]shepherds of His flock?
Where is He who ^(C)put His Holy Spirit in the midst of ^[b]them,
¹² Who caused His ^(D)glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses,
Who ^(E)split the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,
