Exodus 12:8-11

8 They are to eat the meat that night; they should eat it, roasted over the fire along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.(A) 9 Do not eat any of it raw or cooked in boiling[a] water, but only roasted(B) over fire—its head as well as its legs and inner organs. 10 You must not leave any of it until morning;(C) any part of it left until morning you must burn. 11 Here is how you must eat it: You must be dressed for travel,[b] your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the Lord’s Passover.(D)

8 That same night(A) they are to eat the meat roasted(B) over the fire, along with bitter herbs,(C) and bread made without yeast.(D) 9 Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs and internal organs.(E) 10 Do not leave any of it till morning;(F) if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste;(G) it is the Lord’s Passover.(H)
