Exodus 12:40-42
New Living Translation
40 The people of Israel had lived in Egypt[a] for 430 years. 41 In fact, it was on the last day of the 430th year that all the Lord’s forces left the land. 42 On this night the Lord kept his promise to bring his people out of the land of Egypt. So this night belongs to him, and it must be commemorated every year by all the Israelites, from generation to generation.

New International Version
40 Now the length of time the Israelite people lived in Egypt[a] was 430 years.(A) 41 At the end of the 430 years, to the very day, all the Lord’s divisions(B) left Egypt.(C) 42 Because the Lord kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the Lord for the generations to come.(D)
