¹²But the more they oppressed them, ^(A)the more they multiplied and the more they ^[a]spread out, so that they dreaded the sons of Israel.

¹²But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites

¹⁰Say to the ^(A)righteous that it will go well for them,
For they will eat the fruit of their actions.

¹⁰Tell the righteous it will be well^(A) with them,
for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds.^(B)
