Le jour du sabbat

35 Moïse réunit toute l’assemblée des Israélites et leur dit : Voici ce que l’Eternel a ordonné de faire : Vous ferez votre ouvrage pendant six jours, mais le septième jour sera pour vous un jour de repos complet, consacré à l’Eternel. Quiconque fera un travail ce jour-là sera mis à mort[a]. Vous n’allumerez de feu dans aucune de vos habitations le jour du sabbat.

Instructions sur les offrandes pour le tabernacle

Moïse dit à toute l’assemblée des Israélites : Voici ce que l’Eternel a commandé[b] : Prélevez parmi vous une contribution pour l’Eternel. Toute personne qui le souhaite dans son cœur apportera à l’Eternel une contribution en bronze, en argent ou en or, ou des fils de pourpre violette ou écarlate, de rouge éclatant, du fin lin et du poil de chèvre, des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge, des peaux de dauphins et du bois d’acacia, de l’huile pour le chandelier et des aromates pour l’huile d’onction et le parfum aromatique, des pierres d’onyx et d’autres pierres à enchâsser pour l’éphod et pour le pectoral.

Les instructions sur les artisans du tabernacle

10 Tous les gens habiles parmi vous, qu’ils viennent et exécutent tout ce que l’Eternel a prescrit : 11 le tabernacle, sa tente et sa couverture, ses agrafes, ses cadres, ses traverses, ses piliers et ses socles, 12 le coffre sacré avec ses barres et le propitiatoire, le voile de séparation, 13 la table, ses barres et tous ses accessoires, ainsi que les pains destinés à être exposés devant l’Eternel, 14 le chandelier, ses ustensiles, ses lampes et l’huile d’éclairage, 15 l’autel des parfums et ses barres, l’huile d’onction sainte, le parfum aromatique et le rideau pour l’entrée de la Demeure, 16 l’autel des holocaustes, sa grille de bronze, ses barres et tous ses accessoires, la cuve et son socle, 17 les tentures du parvis, ses piliers, ses socles et le rideau pour l’entrée du parvis, 18 les piquets du tabernacle, ceux du parvis et leurs cordages, 19 les vêtements de cérémonie pour faire le service dans le sanctuaire, les vêtements sacrés pour le prêtre Aaron, et ceux de ses fils pour l’exercice du sacerdoce.

Le peuple apporte ses offrandes

20 Puis la communauté des Israélites se retira de la présence de Moïse. 21 Alors tous ceux dont le cœur les y disposait et qui en avaient la volonté vinrent apporter à l’Eternel leur contribution en vue de la construction de la tente de la Rencontre, de tout l’ouvrage qui s’y rapporte et de la confection des vêtements sacrés. 22 Tous ceux qui le souhaitaient de tout leur cœur, les hommes autant que les femmes, vinrent apporter des pendentifs, des boucles, des anneaux, des bracelets et toutes sortes d’ornements en or, et ils les offrirent à l’Eternel avec le geste de présentation. 23 Tous ceux qui avaient chez eux des fils de pourpre violette ou écarlate, de rouge éclatant, du fin lin, du poil de chèvre, des peaux de béliers teintes en rouge et des peaux de dauphins les apportèrent. 24 Tous ceux qui avaient mis de côté une offrande en argent et en bronze l’apportèrent à l’Eternel. Tous ceux qui avaient chez eux du bois d’acacia l’apportèrent pour tout l’ouvrage à réaliser. 25 Toutes les femmes habiles filèrent le lin de leurs mains et apportèrent des fils de pourpre violette et écarlate, de rouge éclatant et du fin lin. 26 Toutes les femmes habiles qui le désiraient de tout cœur filèrent les poils de chèvre. 27 Les chefs du peuple apportèrent les pierres d’onyx et les pierres à enchâsser pour l’éphod et le pectoral, 28 les aromates et l’huile pour le chandelier, pour l’huile d’onction et pour le parfum aromatique. 29 Tous les Israélites, hommes et femmes, que leur cœur poussait à apporter quelque chose pour les ouvrages que l’Eternel avait ordonné d’exécuter par l’intermédiaire de Moïse, apportèrent leurs offrandes volontaires à l’Eternel.

Les artisans du tabernacle

30 Moïse dit aux Israélites : Voyez, l’Eternel a désigné Betsaléel, fils d’Ouri, descendant de Hour, de la tribu de Juda[c]. 31 Il l’a rempli de l’Esprit de Dieu qui lui confère de l’habileté, de l’intelligence et de la compétence pour exécuter toutes sortes d’ouvrages, 32 pour concevoir des projets, pour travailler l’or, l’argent et le bronze, 33 pour tailler des pierres à enchâsser, pour sculpter le bois et pour réaliser toutes sortes d’ouvrages. 34 Il lui a aussi accordé, de même qu’à Oholiab, fils d’Ahisamak de la tribu de Dan, le don d’enseigner sa technique à d’autres. 35 Il les a doués d’habileté pour exécuter toutes sortes de travaux de graveur et de concepteur, pour broder la pourpre violette, le rouge éclatant et le fin lin, pour réaliser des travaux de toutes sortes et concevoir des projets.

Sabbath Regulations

35 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the Lord has commanded(A) you to do: For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of sabbath(B) rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it is to be put to death.(C) Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.(D)

Materials for the Tabernacle(E)(F)

Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze; blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather[a]; acacia wood; olive oil(G) for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece.

10 “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded:(H) 11 the tabernacle(I) with its tent and its covering, clasps, frames, crossbars, posts and bases; 12 the ark(J) with its poles and the atonement cover and the curtain(K) that shields it; 13 the table(L) with its poles and all its articles and the bread of the Presence; 14 the lampstand(M) that is for light with its accessories, lamps and oil for the light; 15 the altar(N) of incense with its poles, the anointing oil(O) and the fragrant incense;(P) the curtain for the doorway at the entrance to the tabernacle;(Q) 16 the altar(R) of burnt offering with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils; the bronze basin(S) with its stand; 17 the curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard;(T) 18 the tent pegs(U) for the tabernacle and for the courtyard, and their ropes; 19 the woven garments worn for ministering in the sanctuary—both the sacred garments(V) for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons when they serve as priests.”

20 Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses’ presence, 21 and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. 22 All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments. They all presented their gold as a wave offering to the Lord. 23 Everyone who had blue, purple or scarlet yarn(W) or fine linen, or goat hair, ram skins dyed red or the other durable leather brought them. 24 Those presenting an offering of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the Lord, and everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work brought it. 25 Every skilled woman(X) spun with her hands and brought what she had spun—blue, purple or scarlet yarn or fine linen. 26 And all the women who were willing and had the skill spun the goat hair. 27 The leaders(Y) brought onyx stones and other gems(Z) to be mounted on the ephod and breastpiece. 28 They also brought spices and olive oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.(AA) 29 All the Israelite men and women who were willing(AB) brought to the Lord freewill offerings(AC) for all the work the Lord through Moses had commanded them to do.

Bezalel and Oholiab(AD)

30 Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills(AE) 32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 33 to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. 34 And he has given both him and Oholiab(AF) son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach(AG) others. 35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work(AH) as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.

20 以色列全会众从摩西的面前出去。 21 凡心受感动,灵被驱策的,都带耶和华的礼物来,为要造会幕和其中一切的器具,以及缝制圣衣。 22 凡甘心乐意的,连男带女都来了,各将金器,就是胸针、耳环、打印的戒指,和项链带来,摇着金器的摇祭献给耶和华。 23 凡有蓝色、紫色、朱红色纱、细麻、山羊毛、染红的公羊皮、精美皮料的,都拿了来; 24 凡愿意献银和铜作礼物的,都拿礼物来献给耶和华;凡有金合欢木可做各种用途的也都拿了来。 25 凡心中有智慧,可以亲手纺织的妇女,也把所纺的蓝色、紫色、朱红色纱,和细麻都拿了来。 26 凡有智慧,心里受感动的妇女都来纺山羊毛。 27 众官长把红玛瑙和宝石,可以镶嵌在以弗得与胸袋上的,都拿了来, 28 又拿做香,做膏油,和点灯所需的香料和油来。 29 以色列人,无论男女,凡心里受感动的,都带甘心祭来献给耶和华,为要做耶和华藉摩西所吩咐的一切工。

造会幕的技工(C)

30 摩西以色列人说:“看,犹大支派中户珥的孙子,乌利的儿子比撒列,耶和华已经题名召他, 31 又以 神的灵充满他,使他有智慧、聪明、知识,能做各样的工, 32 能设计图案,用金、银、铜制造各物, 33 又能雕刻镶嵌用的宝石,雕刻木头,做各样精巧的工。 34 耶和华又赐给他和支派中,亚希撒抹的儿子亚何利亚伯能教导人的心。 35 耶和华使他们的心满有智慧,能做各样的工,无论是雕刻的工,图案设计的工,用蓝色、紫色、朱红色纱,和细麻作刺绣的工,以及编织的工,他们都能胜任,也能设计图案。”

35 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the Lord hath commanded, that ye should do them.

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the Lord: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the Lord commanded, saying,

Take ye from among you an offering unto the Lord: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass,

And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

10 And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the Lord hath commanded;

11 The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

12 The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,

13 The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,

14 The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,

15 And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,

16 The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the Lord.

23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the Lord's offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the Lord, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the Lord had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the Lord hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

32 And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.

34 And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
